Hillary Clinton was heckled at a speech at the University of Buffalo. She decried the heckler as an extreme voice, and was rewarded with a standing ovation.
“I’m hoping we will — move away from the slash and burn politics, the name calling, the excessive partisanship that we’ve seen too much of lately,” (Clinton) said.
Well, Hillary, no useless platitude ever fed a hungry child.
Or resurrected a Navy SEAL.
Or an ambassador.
But let’s review the “slash and burn” of late. Which party has called the opposition jihadists, extremists, anarchists, terrorists, arsonists, and sent a party email insinuating the Tea Party was the same as the KKK?
How many people is this level of incivility going to kill?
How many more Tuscons does the Democrat Party need to cause?
How many more Gabby Giffords?
She then said: “(Our future) doesn’t include yelling. It includes sitting down and talking.”
Unless you are relying on Hillary to save you from Al-Queda. Then your future includes yelling.
Jay Carney has walked out of a press briefing…before it was over.
Imagine if Tony Snow or Dana Perino had done that.
And why did Carney march out?
Did his eyebrows reach “maximum surprise and befuddlement” and he needed a Midol?
Was it naptime?
Did Chuck Todd’s cat emerge from his goatee, and Carney is allergic?
Maybe only the NSA could tell us what he was thinking, but we know when he walked out, he was being asked a very difficult line of questioning about Obamacare. You know, disrespectful questions about why the President’s signature program was flailing about like someone plugged a freshly caught Salmon into a wall socket.
During an earthquake.
On a Clinton hotel room bed with a fresh round of quarters put in.
It’s a program Carney has defended every time he is asked, and he has given very clear answers about in the past. (Unlike the answers he gives when asked about the Capitol of Israel)
No, Jay Carney walked out because the job was simply just too hard. He’s following his boss’ example perfectly. Maybe we’ll see him golfing later this week.
Imagine if our Soldiers behaved like this, by the way.
