Well, I think it's 200 words. I supersized it, since it is the weekend edition.
Liberalism begat Liberalism. And the Lord cast his eyes down from the heavens, and boy was he pissed.
Something of a "rock and a hard place" scenario for the left has emerged. Apparently, climate change creates jobs. Not just any jobs, either. These are better jobs than the ones we are creating in the country right now. And so what has President Obama decided to do?
Now is the time to act on the climate, he says. He is going to force the energy sector to cut emissions through EPA regulations. Yet another opportunity to create jobs squandered.
Does anyone else think the last Democrat to appreciate a good job was Bill Clinton?
But even better than the jobs, there are structures and beauracracy that need to be put in place to train workers for these new "green" jobs. It has all the hallmarks of good liberalism right there folks. A problem we don't have, is going to create jobs we don't want, requiring a beauracracy we don't need, but your money will actually be spent on it!
Isn't it amazing that the only thing real about all of this is the cost to you?
If only there was a taxpayer-funded enterprise that hadn't gone under to do such a thing...
Solyndra anyone? And let's not forget that's not the only one...
Isn't it instructive that the only thing real about all of this is the cost to you?
The new regulations are designed to "spur innovation" and "create jobs". If that were true, under this administration, we would be experiencing the greatest jobs boom in our history! All the factors are there: Government spending, welfare and unemployment benefits, Obamacare, climate change, and an economic recovery. All of these things create jobs, according to Democrats.
But the jobs are not there. They know why, and now they're actively trying to stifle job creation even further.
"Spur innovation", "create jobs", and "economic boom" are what Dems say when they know that what they are doing is complete buffoonery.
