Prison Guards Find Contraband in Football

American.

Prison officials in Arkansas have thwarted an attempt to sneak contraband into the facility by hiding it in a football.

The incident occurred at the Grimes Unit of the Arkansas Department of Correction in Newport. Prison officials on Friday said a football came sailing over the wall from the outside of the facility, landing in the courtyard. Suspicious, guards examined the football and quickly realized it wasn't a typical pigskiin.

"Alert correctional officers didn’t fall for the fake," the ADC said in a statement. "They cut open the football. And hidden inside….cell phones and two kinds of drugs."

Have you ever been caught trying to sneak something - other than a movie theater?
