SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -
A judge sentenced a Summerville man to 25 years Wednesday night after a Dorchester County jury convicted him armed robbery as well as assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
Tyreece Stokes, 25, robbed and stabbed a mother of four who was sitting in her car on her cell phone on Sept. 1, 2016, according to first assistant solicitor Don Sorenson.
The incident happened on Weber Road in Summerville where the victim was stabbed through her left eye, into her brain and in her left chest with a steak knife, Sorenson said.
