NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — North Charleston police officers are currently on the scene of a fatal shooting incident at Dorchester Road and West Surrey Drive.
A man was discovered dead inside of a vehicle that crashed at the intersection, suffering from gunshot wounds.
North Charleston Police and Charleston County EMS were originally called to a reported shooting along the 2700 block of W. Surrey shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday, dispatchers with Charleston County 911 say.
The investigation is ongoing.
