SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — A portion of the Nexton interchange could be opening as soon as this week, according to a Berkley county spokesperson.
The portion of the interchange that is said to be opening , could potentially relieve traffic off N. Main street in Summerville.
Construction crews were working on the road Monday along Holiday drive.
Mayor Wiley Johnson says a meeting will take place Tuesday to decide if the portion of the road will open.
